Red Zoanthids Frag Stock

While these and most soft corals do not absorb a significant quantity of carbonates (they do not quickly lower your tank's Alkalinity as they grow), they do appear to appreciate Alkalinity maintained at 7.5dKH or higher. If the Alkalinity starts to drop below 7dKH, their growth slows and they do not appear as open, colorful, and "happy".

Caution should be used while keeping these corals (especially with handling) as they may contain palytoxin.  We do not handle them without gloves and do not handle them at all if we have an open wound.  Please be sure to read up on palytoxin elsewhere before purchasing.

Like all the corals currently listed from TerraReef, this specimen is an aquacultured coral.

This item is a "stock item" meaning the coral you receive may not be the exact one in the picture, but a clone similar in appearance. Sometimes we include images of our mother colonies as well to give an idea of what the corals will grow into under proper care. Approximate size range may also vary between individual specimens.
