This coral is mounted to a 1.25" frag plug. Montipora spongodes can have both plating and branching structures within the same colony. Their bright bold green base with dark contrasting polyps leads to a unique looking texture. For SPS, they are pretty hardy and adapt to a wider range of conditions then many other stony corals.
