Crazy Sully Mushroom coral
The first image was taken some time before 2018 under bright T5 lighting and it was likely in very high Nitrates and Phosphates. The second two images were taken in 10/2021 under Radions. We have kept this mushroom coral for over a decade. It does resemble the "Lava Lamp Bouncing Metallic Bounce Mushroom", but since we acquired this long ago, we cannot say it is a direct clone from that genetic line.
The specimens currently listed should be considered "loose". That is they may, or may not, only be attached to some bits of sand and not a plug or rock. Specimens will be at least 3/4" in diameter when open and not in too much light. “Mushrooms” are hardy "corals" which can tolerate a wide range of conditions. It is important to note these corals should never be handled with bare hands. Please make sure you understand the risks of working with mushrooms before purchasing.
Like all the corals currently listed from TerraReef, this specimen is an aquacultured coral.
It is very important that you are aware of the care requirements of these corals before ordering. Please take some time to read some information from a few sources.
This item is a "stock item" meaning the coral you receive may not be the exact one in the picture, but a clone similar in appearance. Sometimes we include images of our mother colonies as well to give an idea of what the corals will grow into under proper care. Approximate size range may also vary between individual specimens.
