These Stylophora are a hardy SPS coral commonly referred to as, "Cat's paw" or just "Stylo". We believe this may be the popular Rainbow Stylophora or "Rainbow Stylo". There is a small chance some of our frags may be of the variant called "Jason Fox Bug Out Stylophora", though we consider this unlikely.
We purchased one small frag of these from a vendor who claims to quarantine their livestock and sells 100% aquacultured corals. Once we received our frag, we quarantined this coral for 246days, we removed the frag plugs, dipped them, and they have been in propagation since then (8/11/2022).
For reference / sense of scale, frag plugs seen in the images are 1.25" wide.
While these are often sold as a "Stylo" we believe this to be a poor choice of common name as there is an increasing amount of corals sold under that name are from the genus Stylocoeniella. These "Stylophora" and our "Green Stylophora" are from the genus "Stylophora". Stylophora, like the variety for sale here, is a branching SPS while Stylocoeniella are more of an encrusting species.
These and all of the other corals listed from TerraReef are aquacultured and protected by our strict 90+ day quarantine protocols.

This item is a "stock item" meaning the coral you receive may not be the exact one in the picture, but a clone similar in appearance. Sometimes we include images of our mother colonies as well to give an idea of what the corals will grow into under proper care. Approximate size range may also vary between individual specimens.
